The “Friends of Cobbs Garden Surgery” is a charity whose aim is to help raise the standard of healthcare for the patients of the Olney surgery by funding extra services and equipment. The registered charity was set up in 1992 to raise funds and manage donations made by businesses and individuals in order to supply equipment and services not provided by the NHS.
This has enabled the surgery to give an enviable service and enable the practice to improve outcomes for patients.
The surgery also secured an impressive “Care Quality Commission” report in April 2016, rated “Outstanding” in the area of services being responsive to patient’s needs.

New External Building
This project was funded by donations made to the “Friends” and organised by the Trustees. The total cost of £20k plus included all furnishings, new gate, landscaping and decking. Used for meetings and counselling, project also freed up a room in the main building to be used as an additional treatment room.
The Olney Dementia Project.
